Dear Members and Friends of the Anthroposophical Society,

have you missed the Saturday Morning Talks as much as I did?

The good news is: they will be back in 2010 in a different format!

I was able to book a very good venue:

the Phyllis Hore room at the Kew library, Cnr Cotham Rd & Civic Dve, Kew Vic 3101

At this venue we can have our talks once a month on the fourth Saturday - beginning in April until September 2010.

It will be different: you are invited to contact me via email, mail or phone and let me know your suggestions for topics, your special questions, your interests, ideas and wishes etc. regarding Anthroposophy, the anthroposophical movement and other closely related themes.

Please do this as soon as possible because I hope to have a full basket of your responses and out of this I will organise the speakers accordingly.

The new name of this event is: Saturday Morning Forum

I decided to call it a forum because I will try to get two or three speakers who will not only give a short presentation of the subject but will have an open discussion / exchange of thoughts with each other and you, as the audience, are invited to actively participate as well.

The selection of the topics depends very much on the availability of the speakers, so please don't be disappointed if your theme or question won't be dealt with straight away. I will try my best!

The talks will be held on the following dates from 10.00am sharp until 12.00pm.

Saturday 24^th April

Saturday 22^nd May

Saturday 26^th June

Saturday 24^th July

Saturday 28^th August

Saturday 25^th September

Entry $10.00 / $8.00 concession, morning tea and some snacks will be served.

Ps. If you feel that you are a possible speaker and keen to be part of this new initiative, then please let me know and tell me your preference/s for topics, with whom you would like to share the forum and which month/s you would be available.

This is an initiative of the Victorian branch and a service for the members and friends. In the past we have given $30.00 as a thank you gesture to the speakers. I hope that this will work for the forums next year as well so that we don't have to increase the entry cost for the audience.
